RNO in Reno, NV, is the closest major airport (approximately a 40-minute drive from Truckee).
SAC in Sacramento is about 2 hours.
SFO in San Francisco is about 3.5-4 hours.

Truckee: Check out Truckee’s historic downtown, utilize the countless biking & hiking trails, fly fish, or float down a lazy river.
Lake Tahoe: Take in the stunning views of Emerald Bay, visit the old Vikingsholm Castle, rent a standup paddleboard or hydrofoil on the lake, mountain bike, or enjoy the many beaches (Pope, Zephyr, etc.).
